Chee Wah Corporation Berhad has launched the Precious Gift Campaign, in collaboration with a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partner, Universiti Sains Malaysia. The mission of Precious Gift Campaign is to educate the public about the importance of early childhood education and to give the less fortunate the most precious gift of all ---- knowledge.
From 16 November 2008 to 15 February 2009, Chee Wah Corporation Berhad & Future Ace, in collaboration with CSR Philanthropy Trans Disciplinary Action Group Universiti Sains Malaysia will implement the Precious Gift Campaign nationwide. With the Precious Gift Campaign, Chee Wah Corporation Berhad & Future Ace will donate RM 1,000 worth of books for every RM 10,000 worth of Future Ace books sold in Malaysia. These Future Ace books will be donated to selected orphanages throughout the country that are vetted by CP-TAG, USM.

STIE Surabaya Internship Program
R.E.A.D.E.R (Research, Education and Advance Development for Early Readers) is the brainchild of Porpoise Marketing in collaboration with CSR Philanthropy – Trans Disciplinary Action Group (CP-TAG), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). The aim of this program is to create awareness about the importance of reading and learning English language among early learners (3- 6 yrs). It is our vision to make this program available outside of Malaysia. The internship collaboration is seen as a first and important step for the expansion of R.E.A.D.E.R program to Indonesia. Interns will undergo two weeks introduction courses (please refer to the internship structure and learning outcomes) in Malaysia. Upon completion, intern will introduce and expand R.E.A.D.E.R program in Indonesia under the monitoring and coaching of CP – TAG, USM.

Our company will be responsible for promotion and marketing activities in this project. Posters and letters have been sent to selected school in Peninsular Malaysia and the launching event for this program has been carried out at Penang Free School.
